A completed, glass-cased 30 1/2-inch, 1:350-scale model of the White Star RMS Titanic ocean liner, built from one of the Revell kits. A plaque identifies the builder as Sidney J.T. Hill, Brewood.
Revell has produced a number of "Titanic" kits over the years, including a slightly smaller 1:400 version that is currently on sale as a hundred-year anniversary kit. Revell has also produced smaller kits in 1:570 and 1:1200.
A version of this larger 1:350 model is now sold by Minicraft, who are also relaunching an updated 1:350 version for the Titanic centenary.
Location
This model was sitting opposite Cabinet 25 (where we had most of the Titanic Exhibition pieces when the exhibition was running), but is now back in storage.
