Distributed around the museum, overhead, are fourteen large-scale radio-controlled model aircraft, including a pair of large Spitfires in the lobby (quarter-scale and sixth-scale), and a further twelve fixed-wing planes built and flown by Denis Hefford.
An additional three working helicopter models by Gordon Bowd include a twin-rotor Kamow, at the time possibly the only successful working model of a production coaxial-rotor helicopter.
