A Multi-Builder wooden construction set, made by Nicholtoys supplied in a stout cardboard box with stickered lid, including colour instruction sheet.

The set was donated to the museum in 2024.

Dating

The Multbuilder concept, with various shapes of wooden blocks, split pins, and retention screws, had its patent application completed in 1940, and was granted a patent in 1941 (GB537442A).

The patent application lists the applicants as L.J. Nicholls Ltd., and Arthur Leonard Newbery, both of Robertsbridge, Surrey.
