The Tri-ang Countryside Series was a collection of buildings meant to accompany 00-gauge model railways (and shown in the Tri-ang Railways catalogue), made, rather oddly, of hollow moulded rubber.
They were manufactured by Young and Fogg, a rubber moulding company that had just been acquired by Lines Brothers.
The Countryside Series was a followup to a smaller range of physically larger gauge 0-compatible rubber buildings, the Cotswold Village Series.
