A Marionette of a Farmer made by Pelham Puppets
This puppet is an SM type, meaning that the puppet came with a moveable mouth controlled by an extra string. Earlier models in this line were sold without the rake accessory.
This puppet demonstrates the larger, open composite hands which were used from the 1970s onwards. The fact that this puppet comes complete with the rake and has a later type of hand allows us to give it an age range of around 30 to 45 years.
