Sud Aviation Caravelle

The French Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle was introduced in 1959, and was the earliest example of a jet airliner designed for the short/medium-range market. Among the first generation of jet airliners, the Caravelle was instantly recognisable by its distinctive triangular windows and rear-mounted engines. 282 were produced between 1958 and 1972, mainly for use by European airlines.
