A "Queen" Pelham Puppets "Stringed, Luxury" SL marionette with blue crown and silvery dress with red lining, and black feet.
Description
'Queen' Stringed Luxury Pelham puppet, with original box.
Pink skin tone composition or plastic large moulded head with pointed nose and prominent cheeks and chin. Small green and black hand painted eyes with arched 'surprise' expression eyebrows, closed moulded line mouth. Two crease lines painted to either side of head. Grey waved acrylic (?) hair in a bun at the back. Small royal crown on top of head, blue sheepskin edging round moulded yellow dome with circle round it of purple felt points. Pale blue and silver lame fabric dress, wide collar with white nylon scarf, long mutton chop shaped sleeves, sewn onto bodice is a gold coloured filigree metal pendant with tiny 'diamond'. Long skirt of same material open to front to show white cotton underskirt with red satin panel to the front. Body construction - wooden chest, limbs pink solid wood tubes with metal eyelet joints. Hands moulded composition or plastic. Moulded plastic legs in two sections with vertical joints to knees and ankles. Wooden black clog style feet.
Folding wooden cross control.
Box - brown card with yellow lid, illustrations of king, queen, dragon puppets etc. Box labelled 'SL Queen'.
