A painted hollowcast lead Eland Bull, from the Britains Zoo range, probably pre-war, catalogue number 933.

1940 catalogue description

" These animals are the largest of the antelope family and are found only in Africa, Syria and arabia. They are graceful but extremely powerful and the strong twisted horns form excellent weaoppns of defence. A fully-grown bull weighs between 800 to 1,200 lbs. "
