The Meccano Chinese lantern is an overhead ehxhibit, just inside the entrance to Arch Two.

It's a four-sided pre-War Chinese lantern made from Meccano, holding four backlit panels advertising Meccano and Hornby Trains.

It's a very, very rare piece originally made by Meccano as a promotional item for shops.
