location: |
A framed original (1935?) poster for the LNER "The Silver Jubilee" streamlined train service from London to Newcastle.
The poster features a perspective view of the 2509 Silver Link locomotive hauling the train, and rather confusingly colours the train pale yellow, giving the misleading suggestion that the loco might have been gold rather than silver!
The poster tagline is "Britain's First Streamlined Train"
Location
The poster is in Arch Four, near a Punch and Judy booth.
