The Meccano Chinese lantern is an overhead exhibit, just inside the entrance to Arch Two.
It's a four-sided pre-War Chinese lantern made from Meccano, holding four backlit custom panels advertising Meccano and Hornby Trains.
It's a very, very rare piece originally created by Meccano as a promotional exhibition item, and as far as we know, only two were ever made.
