A large, 2.5" gauge engineered model of the famous Flying Scotsman locomotive, LNER running number 4472.
This model isn't kept in the Museum, but lives upstairs in Brighton Station, in a glass cabinet set into the wall of the bus ticket office.
The model has a plaque commemorating the Flying Scotsman's visit to Brighton Station in 1966.
