The Museum is putting on a special Hornby-themed Train Running Day on Saturday 11th May 2013, to kick off its celebrations for Frank Hornby Week.

Promotional text:

Turn back time and see some of Hornby Trains' finest vintage creations running on our authentic period 1930s layout.

This is a rare opportunity to see some of the cream of the Museum's large "gauge 0" Hornby locomotives and rolling stock roaming free in their natural habitat.

Times

Nominal train running times are 11am-4pm, with an hour or so's lunchbreak to give the operators a rest and a chance to eat something.
