A blue and white striped Hornby Series M Series Telegraph Pole No.2 from the mid-1930s.

The telegraph pole is an upright girderlike "H" cross-section pole made from folded tinplate, white with six broad blue bands, holding up two horizontal telegraph cable support crosspieces, with a round black base. The blue bands produce a 50% blue-and-white banding.

The horizontals are white on one side and black on the other.
