A pale grey 1:1200 second-issue model of the HMS Vanguard, Britain's largest and last dreadnought battleship. It was part of the Tri-Ang Minic range produced between 1959 and 1964.
The second-issue model has a tan deck (rather than grey), and the front section of deck is painted red.
HMS Vanguard's commissioned period was 1946-1960.
