A white Hornby Series single-arm signal with black detailing.
The signal has a white latticework upright, a black finial and access ladder, and a black rectangular unribbed base with MECCANO lettered on it in gold.
Protruding from the side of the signal is a white cylindrical "funnel-topped" (cast?) white-painted metal signal lamp (non-functional, for show only). The signal arm itself is the flat-ended "Home" version.
