Arch Two , Area 25 1973 |
Assembled model of a London Bus with original box, Lego 384, made in 1973. Route number 7, with Hyde Park, Oxford Street, and Regent Street listed on decals.
Scale
Although the bus is "Legoland-era", it is not to Legoland scale, as it uses the standard-size spoked wheels, rather than the single-stud Microwheels. The purpose of the bus design is to show how well Lego could be used to represent the distinctive shape of the classic London Bus, as a stand-alone model rather than as part of a scene.
