The Animal House was a wonderful soft toy shop at 12 Bond Street Brighton. It closed on 27th April 2013 (last trading day).
The shop was notable for the incredible range of cute animals crammed into the shop. Many soft toy shops can sell you a teddy bear or lion, but The Animal House could also sell you a fluffy armadillo, aardvark, badger, vulture, wolf, or just about any other animal that you could think of.
The Animal House was a unique place, and a valuable addition to the diversity of the North Laine area, and it's much missed.
