A "First Day Cover"-style envelope, the left hand side of which is printed in block dull yellow and black:
- Commemorative Cover / Last Public Run / Brighton Belle / Sun 30 April 1972
The envelope has a colour Railway Letter mark, a Brighton Belle Final Run rectangular postmark, and a triangular stampmark certifying that it was carried on the last Brighton Belle public service.
