Models produced to 1:144 scale.
1/144 scale is often used for plastic model kits of large aircraft and ships, since it allows comparatively large structures such as warships and bomber aircraft to be modelled at a manageable size. It's also reasonably close to the scaling used by N-gauge.
Plastic kits of smaller objects (such as boats and single-seater aircraft) are often produced in the larger 1:72 scale, which makes a six-foot figure exactly one inch high. 1:44-scale is half this size.
