One of the nicer things about the Airfix Betta Bilda system was the range of specialised accessory packs, which let owners buy only the sorts of extra parts that they wanted for their next project – they didn't have to buy general sets just to get a specific sort of part.

The instruction books that we have list thirteen accessory packs (which is presumably the initial or early range): we've also seen a number 14: but a 1966 advert says that (at that point) there were more than twenty!

1 – HALF BRICKS

Each pack contains 70 half bricks. These are available in red or white

2 – FULL BRICKS

Each pack contains 50 full bricks. These are available in red or white.

3 – BEAMS

Each pack contains 14 assorted beams, 7 long, 7 medium, in red or white.

4 – BASES

Each pack contains 7 assorted white bases – 3 large, 2 medium, 2 small.

5 – DOORS AND WINDOWS

Each pack contains a 15-piece assortment of doors and windows including 1 garage frame and double doors available in red and blue.

6 – APEX BRICKS

Each pack contains 40 gable ends and 4 apex sections available in red or white.

7 – TILES

Each pack contains 77 assorted tiles. 62 full tiles, 6 half tiles, 7 full V-ridge tiles and 1 chimney. Available in red and green.

8 – DORMER TILES

Each pack contains 44 assorted Dormer type roofing accessories. Available in red and green.

9 – CLEAR BRICKS

Each pack contains 54 assorted clear bricks, 40 full, 14 half.

10 – CASTLE ACCESSORIES

Each pack contains 52 assorted Castle accessories in red. 1 drawbridge, 1 gateway, 36 Battlement copings, 10 Corner Battlement copings, 4 firing slots.

11 – WHEELS

Each pack contains 22 piece wheel set in white, 6 wheels, 8 axles, 6 axle bricks, 2 centre pivots.

12 – CURVED BRICKS

Each pack contains 54 assorted white bricks, 18 curved, 6 curved with cut outs, 12 half arch, 18 pillars.

13 – LARGE BASE

Each pack contains 1 large base suitable for large buildings, roofing, floors, etc. Size 6 ¹⁄₄" × 4 ³⁄₈}".
