2004: Launch of the original version of the display [image info]

The museum's "Bleriot to Concorde" display featured a collection of model aircraft that illustrating the history of flight. The display was on show from 2004 to 2023, when it was replaced by a new Aviation display.

Some of the aircraft will have been made from kits or modified from kits (probably Airfix or Revell), some are scratchbuilt, and some are ready-built.
