Mirror Grange - The House on the Rock [image info]
Mirror Grange, depicted in a single-frame lineart cartoon [image info]
Mirror Grange is a dollhouse created in 1929 by the Daily Mirror newpaper as a "home" for their popular cartoon trio, Pip, Squeak and Wilfred. The idea of the dollhouse seems to have been to create something substantial to promote the characters that could be shown at exhibitions.
Mirror Grange was offered at auction by Bonhams in (October?) 1995, we're not sure what happened to it after that.
