1960: Triang Railways catalogue, showing a brown "Sydney Suburban" electric train [image info]
Moldex Ltd. was a plastics moulding company taken over by Lines Brothers in March 1957. Its first catalogue was dated 1958, and the last catalogue and price list on the triang.co.uk website is from 1971. Its name was changed to Tri-Ang Moldex Australia Limited in April 1969.
The company produced a range of "Triang Railways" trains, partly derived from existing Triang product lines, and partly based on local railways (eg the "Sydney Suburban" electric sets) through the late 1950s and 1960s.
