The Denis Hefford Collection
A unique collection of eleven model aeroplanes.
Whilst most of your attention will be engrossed in the various displays in the museum, don't forget to look above your heads at the magnificent large model aeroplanes and realise that these are not just models, all of them are radio-controlled and have actually been flown.
They are all constructed of wood, tissue-paper and wire, and hand-painted with meticulous attention to detail.
Keep your eyes open for the Red Baron in his Fokker Triplane, the Vulcan and Handley Page Bomber, a Stuka Bomber and a Spitfire, and the largest of them all, a Nieuport 10 First World War fighter aeroplane.
