The Romside Manufacturing Company of Romford, Essex, were for some years the main British supplier of dollhouse windows and doors, and their distinctive green tinplate diamond-pattern windows can be seeen built into dollhouses from a number of manufacturers.
Other businesses that supplied the Romside parts to home dollhouse builders included Hobbies (who sold a range of dollhouse kits and plans), and dollhouse furniture makers Barton and Dol-Toi.
