The museum shop's Toy Carousel [image info]
The Toy Carousel is a red and white display stand shaped like a fairground carousel towards the rear of Arch One. It is part of the Museum Shop, and holds a range of "stocking-filler" and "pocket-money" toys, mostly costing a few pounds.
The Carousel is very popular with visiting school groups, and with parents in the run-up to Christmas.
It's also a useful counterpoint to the main shop display areas, which are often dominated by older toys of interest to the collector communities, which aren't suitable for children.
