1909 advert, W.H. Hull and Son, Birmingham [image info]
W.H. Hull and Son (established 1884) were one of the earliest model railway parts suppliers, and a close affiliate of Bassett-Lowke Ltd.
Hull had a shop at 4-5 North-Western Arcade, Birmingham, and were listed as Bassett-Lowke stockists and agents.
However, the relationship also went the other way, with Hull supplying B-L with Hull's own self-designed model railway track, and B-L also returned the favour by including Hull's advertising as one of their miniature model railway adverts, and by producing a brown "W.H. Hull & Son" goods wagon.
