A green 20V gauge 0 4-4-0 Schools-Class Hornby "Eton" E420 Special locomotive with (Southern Railway running number 900), and tender.
When seen up-close, one can see the characteristic difference between this electric model and its clockwork version (apart from the lack of a winding hole). Because these locos had a "waisted" boiler, recessing the surface of the locomotive between the two sets of drive wheels would have revealed the electric motor. To get around this, Hornby put a subtle black upturned pierced triangular plate over the areas on each sides of the locomotive.
