A surprisingly accurate large green lithographed tinplate Flying Scotsman LNER 4472 biscuit tin floor toy, around ~40cm long, made by William Crawford.

The locomotive has an open-topped tender (for displaying biscuitty fuel) and embossed and lithographed detailing, and the front smokebox door hinges forwards and down to open for refilling. Online auction listings suggest that the tender would originally have included a lid.

Although the side wheels are tinprinted, a small pair of protruding axles at the front and back reveal the existence of a real pair of wheels hiding behind the tinplate at the very front and very back.
