High Chair, folding (Kibri) |
location: |
Arch Two , Area 19 |
A dollhouse model of a folding high-chair, probably made by Kibri.
Design
Judging by the number of different dollhouse versions, the folding high-chair seems to have been a well-known design in the 1930s. The chair's two back legs are interrupted and the two front legs are hinged halfway down, so that he chair can be put into two different configurations: a standard baby's high chair, or ... with the lower section rotated forwards ... a low chair and table.
