Hollingbury Park
, a tract of downland comprising 240 acres, on the northern outskirts of the borough, adjoining the Ditchling Road, was acquired a few years ago at a cost of £25,000. It is the site of the Municipal Golf Links, recently extended, and of a prehistoric hill-fort called Hollingbury Camp.
