A grey pre-1925 Hornby Series Hopper Wagon (LNER) with black base.
The wagon has gold lettering with a red drop-shadow (as in the illustration in the 1925 Hornby Book of trains), but also has the product name, "HOPPER WAGON" on the side of the black base, in white letters, which suggests a pre-1925 date.
