Junkers Ju87 Stuka radio-controlled model divebomber (Denis Hefford)(i) |
location: |
A radio-controlled model of the Junkers Ju 87 "Stuka" World War Two divebomber ("Stuka" is short for "Sturzkampfflugzeug").
Markings
The aircraft upper surface is in camouflage colours, the lower surface is sky blue, the engine cowling is bright yellow, and the plane is carrying a single black bomb.
At first sight, the aircraft number simply seems to be "A" in white, but a great deal of squinting indicates that the markings seem to be "52 A M", with the other letters (in black) being very difficult to make out against the fuselage's drab green background.
Location
The model is overhead in Arch Two, by the entrance.
