A golden bear created by the J.K Farnell Company in England in the 1920-1930's. Its name comes from the Yorkshire Mohair it is made of. It is also called the Alpha Bear. It has a wide, vertically stitched, rectangular nose that is a typical Farnell design. The embroidered label is stitched to the left foot.
The inspiration for Winnie The Pooh was probably a Large Long Haired Teddy bought in 1921 by A.A.Milne's wife.
