Range

Triang produced a range of middle-to large plastic bodies ships and boats, and also specifically produced a range of cargo ship variants that were apparently externally identical, using the same plastic shell, but with different innards and different names.

While "British Adventurer" was electric and radio controlled, there were other variants for electrically power without radio control, and for clockwork.

"Adventurer" could be visually distinguished from its sister craft by the wire running between the tips of its two masts, which acted as its receiving aerial for radio control.

Variants:

  • British Adventurer – electric, radio controlled
  • Ocean Trader – electric
  • Ocean Merchant – clockwork
