A grey Hornby Series railway Side-Tipper Wagon, with black base. It seems to be identical to the illustration in the 1925 Hornby Book of Trains.
The wagon side-faces have a bold rounded-cornered red inset border, and are marked "SIR ROBERT McALPINE & SONS, / LONDON" in shadowed and black-outlined gold text.
This model railway wagon is part of a train on the 1930s gauge 0 layout that performs a single circuit of the track when visitors press a button.
