A dark red Meccano Clockwork Motor, with its key and original blue box (with text and lineart on the lid).
This version dates back to before there were different types of Meccano clockwork, so it was simply "The Meccano Clockwork Motor". However, it's not obviously different in design to the No.1 and No.1A motors on display, other than its colour, and the fact that the 1 and 1a boxes mention that their motors are reversable.
