A brown Hornby gauge 0 "Palethorpe's Royal Cambridge" sausages wagon with white roof, black base and wheels, and gold lettering with a thin black outline (accompanied by a picture of a pack of sausages), introduced in 1938
This was one of the last pieces of novel gauge 0 rolling stock to be introduced by Hornby as WW2 loomed and the company's design energies increasingly went into creating new items for their new Dublo brand.
It's located on shelf five of the Hornby Wall display (top shelf, left cabinet), along with its original red RS1717 "Hornby Series" box.
