A rare set of four painted lead characters from the stories of writer-illustrator Beatrix Potter (1866 - 1943).
The set comprises Peter Rabbit (main character), Jeremy Fisher, Timmy Tiptoes and Jemima Puddleduck.
This 1954 set made by Timpo Toys is very rare, and could sometimes be obtained by purchasing a board game manufactured by Frederick Warne.
