A silver and red tinplate postwar gauge 0 Hornby M Series M0 / No.20 type Petrol Wagon (BP), with M0 couplings, produced from 1952 onwards.
The wagon has a simple red chassis with black wheels, a silver tank with rounded ends and a black central access cap, and is marked with a horizontal red line with "BP" in large red letters with slanted quotation marks.
This style of simplified M0 petrol wagon was produced with different markings in the late 1930's, and again after WW2. Post-war renumbering made it the "No.20" type.
