An "Oilette" postcard of "Stores in Cellar", The Queen's Dolls' House (later to be known as Queen Mary's Dolls' House), produced by Raphael Tuck and Sons ("Tuck's Postcards") catalogue number 4505-6. These postcards started to be produced in 1924, when the dollhouse first went on public display.

SERIES VI: ROUND ABOUT THE HOUSE

-

IV: 4505: STORES IN CELLAR.

We cannot think that anything has been forgotten in the furnishing and equipment of the Queen's Dolls' House. Here in the picture we see stores of every description, Jams, Marmalade, Lime Juice, Nestlés’ Milk, Biscuits, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa, Chocolate, Vinegar, Oil, etc., all so minute and beautiful that a microscope is needed to appreciate fully the details. All the labels are legible and are true to the originals.
