A boxed example of Lehmann's anniversary (1881-1981) "The Blue Train" ("Der Blaue Zug") train set.
The set has a No.2 0-4-0 locomotive, two blue carriages, and a set of track.
In the museum
The set is not currently on display – at some future date (time and finances permitting), we'd like to have an overhead railway running in Arch Two above the visitors' heads. This would require something lightweight and ultrareliable, and large enough to see at a distance ... specifications that an LGB system meets admirably.
