GREETINGS. – Through the medium of this little paper, the hand of friendship and co-operation is extended to all the lovers of Model Railways, and also to those who are interested in the "real Thing" as well.
In offering this Journal to the Model Railway World, it is done without any apologies, as it has no "axe to grind" but is dependent entirely on its own merits. It does not claim to be necessarily a literary work of art, but it will endeavour to satisfy what is realised to be a very long-felt want, inasmuch as it will be devoted almost exclusively to constructional work in the Hobby.
The "MODEL RAILWAY CONSTRUCTOR" will consist wholly of "How-to-make" articles, constructive hints and tips as to the adaptation of everyday articles to Model Railway requirements, and an extensive "Query Corner", where readers' difficulties will be set forth and answered in the simplest technical language, for the benefit of other readers.
