UNITARIAN CHAPEL

Is situated at the northern entrance to the New Road. This classical and truly elegant building, was erected in 1820. It has a fine portico, formed on the proportions of that of the Temple of Theseus, at Athens.

On the front is the following Greek inscription.

ΜΟΝΩ ΟΕΩ ΔΙΑ ΙΗΣΟΥ ΧRΙΣTΟΥ ΔΟΣΑ

The interior, which is lighted with gas, is fitted up with considerable taste; it is calculated to seat about 400 persons.

The Rev. Dr. Morell is the minister of the place. Services on Sunday morning, at half-past Ten, in the Evening, at Seven.
