A brown painted tinplate dollhouse furniture Washstand, made by Evans and Cartwright, probably in the mid-Nineteenth Century.
The washstand has embossed flowers at the centre-front and on the fronts of the side-"wings", a high ornamental back, and it's main surface has a large central hole holding a white ceramic bowl and jug.
Below is a handy shelf for holding other associated items (such as spare waterjugs).
