Arch Two , Area 58 Puppet Corner |
A jointed wooden figure of The White Rabbit from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", by Lewis Carroll
.
The figure was created in Lord Robert's Workshops, and is jointed to have moving arms, legs and ears.
About the character
The White Rabbit serves as a strong contrast to Alice, in that his interactions with the other inhabitants of Wonderland depend fully on their own social status - he is vile and bossy to any he sees as being below him, but becomes servile and fawning to any that he sees as his better.
Alice, on the other hand, goes through her entire adventure being constantly polite to absolutely everyone.
