BUILT FROM SELECTED HARDWOOD.

The following illustrations shew a selection of our famous SCALE MODEL WOODEN ROLLING STOCK.

These goods are one of our main specialities and no care and expense is spared in keeping these up to the highest standard of perfection, and continual alterations are being made with the times to keep them so.

GENERAL SPECIFICATION.

• The Sides and Ends are of embossed wood to represent planking (not lithographed) with embossed metal strappings, hinges, corner plates, etc., securely fastened on.
• Tops. The Tops of Vans, covered Wagons, etc., are of wood, and where necessary are fitted with ventilators, chimneys, etc. Brake Vans are fitted with footboards and handrails.
• Axle Guards are of best anti-friction metal exactly to scale, and screwed into sole bars.
• Cast Iron Wheels on steel axles are fitted on all our standard wagons.
• Buffers are of turned brass and screwed into buffer beam.
• Couplings are of special pressed steel and unbreakable.
• Painting and Lettering is carried out according to prototype, and the finish leaves nothing to be desired. The Wagons are supplied in any of the following letters: M.R., G.N., G.C., L.N.W.R., L.M.S., G.W., N.E., S.R.

All our Wagons are supplied in Matt Finish Paint, but if preferred enamel finish can be supplied.

Please Note. All G2½ Goods Rolling Stock have solid brass spring axle guards, cast iron wheels, and spring buffers.
