A Black Poodle marionette made by Pelham Puppets.
The Poodle marionette line was created in 1948 and stayed in production right up until 1990. There were five variations created, with White, Black, Brown, Pink and Blue fur.
Early models were produced with real rabbit fur but the later models used fake fur.

Black fluffy poodle with wooden head and ball snout. Red ribbon in hair. Multicoloured strings.
