Rupert the Bear is a comic strip character created by Mary Tourtel in 1920. This puppet is an SL type (Standard, Luxury), defined by the more detailed molded head.

This puppet was donated to the museum by Blade Tranter in around ~2004.

Details

Light brown molded head, red top, classic yellow checked trousers and scarf, brown feet. Shaped composite hands.
